Will He Forgive Us ?

Will I or will I not take a stand if the hour calls for it ? 

Should I or should I not expect my fellow men to do the same?

Books lay scattered on the floor, yet to be read,

Mothers mourn as we all dropped our heads in shame.

No crime can be committed by a child whose punishment is death by bullet. Will Allah or Shiva or Jesus or Buddha let us wade into such darkness where innocence is betrayed and honesty ridiculed ? I wonder !

The Silence of the Mind

Sometimes I wake up at the middle of the night and look at the pitch black ceiling of my room. Nothing crosses my mind then. As if I am floating through space and not a single strand of thought to break my trance.

Its at those moments that I realize suddenly how important it is to appreciate silence in a world which never stops talking.

When We Have Lost All Our Faith

What will become of us, when we have lost all our faith in our fellow men ?

Will you sleep better with such thoughts stuck on the back of your head ?

A grey cloud looms over the city today, but the dark inside my heart is more,

I have seen the widest gaps bridge and the impenetrable wear.

Trust and faith crumbled up and thrown outside the window of the moving car.

Is it up to me how I decipher your call, or is it how you comprehend ?
